To change this really be the portfolio analysis of technical feasibility to implement water reuse and ensure irrigation in dry periods, even for winter crops, outlined the presidential website.
“We will be a country that expects the rain to be a country that the administration,” said Aguerre.
The MCAP with the Directorate General of the Farm signed an agreement with two local companies to carry out studies of three books in as many departments in this country.
The investigations were conducted over a period of four months with financing from the Investment Promotion Office of Planning and Budget.
The purpose of the pilot areas will be the departments of Thirty-Three (East), Cologne (South center) and Montevideo.
The owner of MGAP recalled that the idea of promoting these mechanisms has its origin in 2009, after the season of dryness that the industry suffered last year.
Aguerre said that traditionally the only crop irrigation in this country is rice, however, he added, needs to incorporate climate forcing others spray and dry land crops including winter wheat.
